Franchise Expo First To Follow Expanded Buy-Out Announcement

Press Release Body = The Multicultural Franchise Expo being held on Saturday, August 26 on the Dearborn Heights campus of Henry Ford Community College will be the first major Expo following extensive buy-out announcements at Ford, GM, and Delphi. The Expo will assist eligible buy-out recipients in turning their buy-out, ranging from $40,000 to $140,000 into a viable business that will provide long-term employment and create jobs.
The Expo is strategically located in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, centrally located between the world headquarters of GM, Delphi, and Ford. Neighboring Dearborn is rich with investors known to have an entrepreneurial spirit.
Buy-out expanded
Delphi has just announced expansion of the original buy-out pool to 8,000 hourly workers represent by the IUE-CWA. An additional 3,200 IUE-CWA employees eligible for retirement at GM will also be included in the newest buy-out offer.
In addition the booths operated by representatives from some of America\'s leading franchise companies, participants will be able to hear speakers talk about important subjects, including: ä the legal aspects of franchising ä how to select a franchise ä how to staff your new business ä forming local alliances to boost and support business ä how to work on the business, instead of in the business
